Hey there! First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to visit my page! My name is Sonja and I'm a portrait photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The photo you see here is my family. I'm married to the most amazing man who is the reason I turned my dream of becoming a photographer into a reality, and we are parents to two little boys who are only 19 months apart

    When I was a little girl I used to pull out my mom's photo albums and look through them for hours. I enjoy seeing photos of things that I missed out on before I was born. I cherish seeing my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles live out their greatest memories together. I love being able to look back at my old baby photos and compare them to my own little boys now! From middle school through college I was always the girl with a camera. I didn't realize it then, but I've always had a fascination with the story a photo can tell. It wasn't until my fiance (now husband) bought me my first professional camera in 2017 when I finally started to become more serious about photography, and here I am today starting my First Chapter to this journey.

     I currently shoot all types of occasions, so whatever it is you're looking to capture I'm here to talk through it with you so we can both determine if I'm the best fit for you! My editing style leans toward the light, bright and airy side and I try to use natural light for all sessions unless I absolutely need a flash. I like to keep the photos as natural looking as possible. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have for me, so don't hesitate to reach out!
